The journey for Stay Home Options™ began following our father's stroke in 2018. Watching him in a hospital, away from his familiar surroundings and family, was heart breaking. Although he received medical care, our deepest wish was to have him back in the comfort of his own residence during those final days. He was our greatest teacher, and his legacy drives our devotion to home-based care today.

In 2023, life tested us again when our mother became ill. When she was told that she had very little time left, my sister and I decided we would move into our family home and we transformed her house into a sanctuary of 24-hour support. Supported by us and dedicated local medical network, we ensured Mum remained exactly where she felt most secure—among her cherished belongings, the scent of her flowers, her beautiful garden and the laughter of her visiting family and grandchildren.

Being present for her peaceful transition at home solidified my life's purpose. I launched Stay Home Options™ to empower other families to maintain their independence and dignity within their own walls.
